Every photo on this site is mine, and all rights are reserved. If you want to use one, ask first. Most requests are quick to answer.
No use without written permission.
What you can ask for
Editorial & press
News, magazines, blogs, and local outlets. Licensed per use, with a credit line. Tell me the outlet, the photo, and how it will run.
Bands & artists
If you are in the photo, you can ask to use it for your own promo and social. I will tell you the terms when I reply. Credit and a tag are required.
Commercial & advertising
Ads, merch, packaging, products, and anything that sells something. Priced by quote, based on the use, how long it runs, and how far it reaches.
Prints
Prints bought on this site are for personal display. Please do not copy, scan, resell, or post them. Want a print for a business, venue, or resale? Ask me.
Reposts
Please do not repost my photos without asking. If I say yes, credit “Photo by Don Jilla” and tag @donjilla.
AI and datasets
My photos may not be used to train AI models, or be scraped or collected into datasets. That applies to every photo on this site.
What I need to quote it
- Which photo. Send the link to the gallery page and the photo number.
- How it will be used. Editorial, promo, social, print, or commercial, and who is publishing it.
- Where and how long. Web, print, or both, and how long it will run.
- Your credit line. How the credit will appear next to the photo.
